Are you looking for a relaxed activity for your group that doesn’t necessarily make you break a sweat? Along with some light-hearted competition in small teams?
Tour de Lake is your answer!
Tour de Lake is a mobile quiz team competition, set along a beautiful route in a relaxing lakeside or seaside setting. The goal for teams is to gather as many points (“gold coins”) as possible by answering questions that arise along the way. Correct answers increase the score, while incorrect decrease it. Easy as what?
The route is 3-7 km, adjusted to the location and groups wishes. Walking pace doesn´t affect to the results/ranking so team can choose their pace and enjoy the tour outdoors. You have 60-90 seconds to answer each question.
The questions are answered by using a mobile app. (Each team should have one smartphone where the game app is installed. There are no costs for the download, no registration is required, and the app can of course be removed after the game ends.) If necessary, our tablets can also be used for the game, but we warmly recommend using smartphones primarily for their compact size while enjoying a walk.
The content of the tasks can also be customized according to the group’s preferences (e.g., questions related to the company’s own theme). Tour de Lake is available for both corporate and private groups all over Finland.
The recommended walking distance is 3- 6,5 km. Duration suggestion is approximately 1,5 hours.
The activity can also be organized remotely, where we provide your group with instructions and game-specific passwords via email in advance. This way, you can start playing at a time that suits you best! You’ll see the results at the end of the game, and if desired, we can also send you a summary via email after the game is completed.
Alternatively, our instructor can be present with tablets, in which case we’ll arrange a specific starting time, and the instructor will provide your group with an initial briefing.
