Chain Reaction – Giant Domino
In Chain Reaction, the entire group shares one common goal: to build the most impressive and creative giant domino run possible.
Everyone works together — not competing, but contributing toward a shared outcome!
Keywords: problem-solving, creativity, encouragement and teamwork. The best part of the program is the building itself — from planning and testing to the joyful moments of success.
Participants are divided into teams, each responsible for building a specific section or shape of the domino run. Examples include a “bridge,” the “company logo,” a “slalom,” a “swing,” and more…
Once a team has completed its own structure, its members are welcome to assist other teams as well. When all sections are finished, they are connected into one large, giant domino chain — a true chain reaction.
A fantastic activity for strengthening group cohesion and a perfect shared program for team days!
The program begins with a shared introduction, after which the teams spread out to plan and build their sections using the materials provided. The activity concludes with a joint finale as the entire chain is set into motion.
Implementing Chain Reaction requires a large, open space, such as a sports hall or a spacious seminar room free of tables and chairs. There are suitable venues all around Finland; examples; Tapahtumakeskus Koskenranta in Helsinki, Scandic Aulanko´s sports-arena in Hämeenlinna and Paviljonki in Jyväskylä.
Depending on the venue and your needs, the program can also include lighting setup and a sound system with background music.
The construction and the chain reaction can be recorded on video, creating a memorable keepsake for your group. (Ask us for a quote for filming!)
Chain Reaction works best with group sizes of 50 to 300 participants.
